Bounce House Setup Information for Customers

Thank you for choosing Olaf's Bounce & Party Rentals for your bounce house rental! To ensure a smooth and safe setup, please review the following important guidelines before our arrival.

1. Setup Location Requirements

    •    Flat, Clear Area: The setup area must be a flat, level surface free of debris, sharp objects, rocks, and pet waste.

    •    Grass, Concrete, or Asphalt: Bounce houses can be set up on grass (preferred), concrete, or asphalt. Please inform us in advance if setup is on concrete or asphalt so we can bring the necessary anchoring equipment.

    •    No Slopes or Hills: The bounce house cannot be set up on steep inclines, as this creates safety hazards.

    •    Overhead Clearance: Ensure there are no overhead obstacles such as power lines, tree branches, or structures. A clearance of at least 15–20 feet above the bounce house is required.

2. Space Requirements

    •    Each bounce house requires additional clearance space around it. For a 12x12 (Check unit size) unit, ensure at least 15x15 feet of space is available.

    •    Allow at least 5 feet of clearance around all sides for safety.

    •    Do not place the bounce house too close to fences, buildings, or pools.

3. Power Requirements

    •    A dedicated 110V outlet (standard household outlet) is required within 50 feet of the setup location.

    •    If no outlet is available, a generator rental may be required (please arrange this in advance).

    •    Extension cords must be heavy-duty (12 or 10-gauge) and cannot exceed 50 feet for safety reasons.

4. Water & Weather Conditions

    •    Bounce houses cannot be used in rain, high winds (15+ mph), or thunderstorms. If winds exceed 15 mph, the unit must be evacuated and turned off immediately.

    •    Water should not be used inside a dry bounce house unless it is a designated water slide unit.

    •    If the forecast calls for bad weather, we will work with you to reschedule or issue a rain check.

5. Safety & Supervision

    •    An adult (18+) must supervise the bounce house at all times to ensure safe use.

    •    No shoes, sharp objects, food, drinks, or pets inside the bounce house.

    •    Follow all posted weight and capacity limits. Overloading the unit can cause damage or injury.

    •    No flips, roughhousing, or climbing on the walls.

6. Delivery & Pickup

    •    Please ensure someone 18+ is present at delivery to sign the rental agreement.

    •    The setup area should be ready before our arrival to avoid delays.

    •    Once set up, the bounce house must not be moved from its original location.

    •    At pickup time, ensure the area is clear and accessible for takedown.

7. Customer Responsibilities

    •    The renter is responsible for the care and condition of the bounce house during the rental period. Any damages caused by neglect, misuse, or failure to follow guidelines may result in additional fees.

    •    If any issues arise during your rental, contact us immediately at [Your Contact Information] for assistance.
